The Bengali sibling festival — celebrated two days after Kali Puja. Sisters apply a sandalwood-rice tilak (phota) on brothers' foreheads, chant a protective verse, then serve a feast. The Bengali version of Bhai Dooj.
₹300-₹500 per plate. Simple home spreads from ₹300. Full bhai-prio feast with mutton kosha and fish at ₹400-₹500/plate.
Radhaballavi or luchi, niramish, basanti pulao, fish (rohu kalia or doi maach), mutton kosha or chicken, chatni-papad, mishti doi, rasgulla, sandesh, payesh. Brother's favourites always included.

Late October / early November, two days after Kali Puja. Book at least 3 weeks ahead — Bhai Phota week sees peak demand for Bengali kitchens.
25 plates minimum. Most Bhai Phota gatherings are 25-50 (close family). 75-100 with extended cousins.
